Ah Loy Thai Restaurant Food Tasting Session
Thanks to thesamplestore.sg for inviting us in this awesome food tasting event. And now we are going to thai cuisines which is best known of their spices and strong aromatic components.
Watch first the video I made:
And here we are at the Ah Loy Thai Restaurant at 100 Beach Road, #01-39/10 Shaw Tower Singapore.
It’s an open restaurant and you will feel comfortable together with your family or friends.
You will also be amaze on the Thai Decorations inside the resto.
and the foods were served:
Started with Thai Salad it’s Mango Salad worth S$5.30 per serving.
I am a mango gaga girl and when I tasted this it made me love mango salad more.
My most favorite of all Thai Food it’s the highly raved Fried Butter Calamari. It’s really delicious you can taste the squid coated with sweet butter. Must try this on your first visit!
First soup served , Tom Yum Seafood – Spiciest soup ever! There are lots of seafood on the soup: prawns, squids, vegetables and mushrooms. Expect sweatiness on your body.
Thai Green Curry. You can taste the coconut and less curry which I like more.
One of Ah Loy Thai Specialities, its the Thai Mango Crispy Chicken. Yes the fried chicken was so crispy with added sour sauce and mango slices.
I always love Fried Rice and Thai Pineapple Fried Rice which was also one of my favorite kind of friend rice. The Rice has moist and filled with prawns, squid and pineapple chunks.
Tom Yum Prawn worth $7.90 per serving.
This cuisine really grabbed my attention cos it was placed in a fish shaped bowl its the Thai Lemon Grass Steam Fish. Steam Fish was a normal cuisine in our country but the fish here was steamed in a lemon grass and I think it was mixed with a spicy juice and red chili which made this Thai speciality soup spicy.
They also served Fried Sweet Potato Leaf in which you can choose spicy or non spicy if you already feel that you wanted non spicy and sweet after all spicy cuisine that are already being served.
Thai Fried Keotow or Phad Thai. It’s a mixed of prawns, toufu, fried egg and bean sprouts with crunched peanuts and a sliced of lime. But my taste buds don’t like bean sprouts so personally I didn’t like this but my co-bloggers loved it.
Stir Fried Red Basil Leaf with Pork. The tiny bits of spices was really so overwhelming but your on your first taste won’t end your eating it will lead you to eat more so prepare your full beverage.
Thai “Black Pepper” Crispy Fish – also one of my favorite dish that was served that day. The taste is not so overwhelming and the fried fish is well-cooked and the sauce is delicious taste.
Stir Fried Red Basil Leaf with Chicken. Same with the Stir Fried Red Basil Leaf with Pork it also has a bits of spices and really it’s very yummy and you’ll consider eating it with a rice and a whole tall glass of your favorite beverage.
and the last but not the least the famous Thai Pandan Chicken which was everyone’s favorite. A chicken wrapped in pandan leaves, the chicken was really well marinated and it’s so tender I tell you its so juicy.
And if you want something new on your beverage, try home made Thai Lemon Grass Drink
