Nowadays Philippines is suffering because of  low education. Our main problems are children were not sent to school  because their parents can’t afford their basic educational necessities and our country also experiencing lack of schools to cater the number of children living in specific area that is really need to be educated no one is exempted,Also in  public schools they can’t  provide full learning facilities, book and any tools that can give the right learning’s for the children’s future or for the country’s future.  The school really need huge amount of money to give our children’s the best!

Thanks to the blessed and kind family, Lopez donates 25 million to Asian Institute of Management for school renovation; in this way we can see that these people have the good heart for others as well as for the country and also for Asia. This is the best legacy he can give to the world and the best investment that can return more than amoney.

Lopez made its first donation to Asian Institute of Management in 1968 for he believes that the success of a country starts in education. It gives way to make the education of our country world class and produce competitive professionals. In that time, it was the single biggest donation gave by the private business. They are the best example of people who blessed and share the blessings to others, I just remembered the move “Pay it Forward” in which the only way to achieve peace and equality of the world. I hope every tycoons will be like them.

He also founded the Lopez Group Foundation in which helps young people who wants to pursue  on their studies. The Lopez family unite and help people who have the ability to be a useful and can have a better profession and that can help the society.

The generosity of the Lopez Family helps a lot of people from a small unit called family to the community.  We salute them! Let’s consider this person our hero for they’re thinking of others rather than themselves.

Jupiter Suites Hotel

Posted by ara in Travel

As a Davaoeño, vacation in a more progressive city like Manila is so expensive. Of course you will consider the fare, transportation, places to go, the food, and of course a convenient place to stay in. And as a traveler who is looking for a cheaper alternative, top of the list is to  look for a hotel that fits the budget!

Last month my blogger friends from Cebu, Iloilo and Cagayan De Oro went to Manila to attend a blogger event. Fortunately, we were referred to stay at the  Jupiter Suites Hotel in Makati City. We were surprised because the location of the hotel is near Glorietta, Manila Ocean Park, and other nice places to go in Makati.

(the room)

Upon entering the hotel, you will meet nice employees and give you a form to fill up. I was also glad to see the room rates because it was cheaper than I thought considering it’s in Makati. They have lots of facilities and services offer such as free breakfast, 24 hours security, free internet access in the room, printing, free newspaper, butler service, laundry service, standby generator and a lot more.

(the Comfort Room/Tiolet)

And in my room, it was so clean and complete. It had colored cable T.V., NDD/IDD telephone service, air-conditioning, closets, a big comfort room with bath tub. You couldn’t ask for more!

You can hardly a find cheaper  Makati hotel with free internet like Jupiter Suites. In addition to wifi access, each room has an internet connection service using your network cable!  So your surfing will be so fast and not crappy. I was able to watch multiple videos in YouTube while chatting with my friends and  even uploading pictures in Facebook. Yeah so fast right?   And if you don’t like to bring your laptop, there are also PCs downstairs that is available for you to use at an hourly rate.

If you want to budget travel in Makati City, go for Jupiter Suites and trust me, it’s all worth it! Plus you can save more money in your trip.

Also, watch this video – I Love Makati by JayL Aquino where he featured Jupiter Suites as a perfect hotel for you to stay in Makati.

Alaxan really makes a big deal to all Filipino workers, and Alaxan pain relievers is a good take when we feel body and muscle pains and also other pains like dysmenorrheal, toothache and headache that would disturb us while we are working. I who really works hard for a living, I easily get body pains and headaches due to stress and lack of sleep, but I took Alaxan everytime it strikes  me and  in just a few minutes  it’s gone , it really helps me more productive each day. Watch this video for more explanation:

And as a blogger, you may say that it is easy because we  are just sitting and can blog wherever we want at home or at the cafe, but this job is not as easy as you thought, you can never be a blogger if you don’t have a reader and you don’t have a knowledge and the latest updates in the blogging sphere, you are not just a writer but also a marketer of your own blog to have a reader. You must also find interesting topics that would surely interest most of the people and the topics that many searched like foods, restaurants, fashion and places. Also you are also a photographer because you can’t just use other pictures by just grabbing , as much as possible you must provide your own images, and must continue posting everyday and promote your blog anywhere to increase your readers and rank in Google.

If I were to chose people and their professions that are worth nominating in that site would be the farmers who works hard whole day  for more than 8 hours who mostly professionals worked and who is responsible for growing crops, raising and breeding livestock, poultry and other animals and marketing farm products for the millions of people to eat.  They may not be compensated well but they really deserved to be appreciated and be known by everybody.

We must remember that we must be proud and happy to our job no matter the salaries, the description, the place the most important is we serve the people and that we heroes in our country. Be proud Filipino! And let us support each one of us!

In this coming election, we are also chose on what party are we gonna vote. There are a lots of partylists to chose from but we need to chose the best and must be prioritize that is also connected with the other issues our nation facing now. We must consider  a party that not only benefit one area but also the others like food, shelter, education, health and environment. And in addition to that party, it must be active, dedicated united and there must be someone who can lead without selfish intentions.

Out of 187 party list candidates, I will vote for Liquified Petroleum Gas Marketer’s Association party list (LPGMA) because they are more concern of Food Security, Health and Environment and maintain the reasonable price of the LPG.

The Liquified Petroleum Gas Marketer’s Association party is a independent party and was created by LPG retailers and sellers  spearheaded by Arnel Ty so that they can voice out to the government and to the nation and call to take an action regarding to the condition of LPG in our country. I support this party because these party has a lot of concern not just to for food prices but also for people’s health. They don’t want to increase the people who uses the alternative way of cooking methods such as burning woods or using of charcoals, because based on the studies many people suffers from  Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease out of it. and it is highly not advisable to use these methods.

This party has a lot of concerns and that will help cater our basic needs and our economical condition. I hope you will support them too.

Vote LPGMA Party List. SHADE #161 in your official ballot!

Follow them LPGMA 161 on Facebook and LPGMA 161 on Twitter for more updates!

Yesterday, as I browse  my facebook website, I saw Ces Drilion post saying “the Nacionalista Party presidential candidate Manny Villar will be the Bandilla’s hot seat,  I then  posted a comment asking on how he would be able to save the Philippines which is in highly crisis. I was so excited to watched it and wanted to know how Manny Villar response to C-5 controversy.

Last Night while working, I switched on the tv to watched Bandila, and luckily it was the Hot seat portion of the program, the news anchors were Ces Drilon and Henry Omaga-Diaz. I also browsed the Bandila Fan Page on facebook where there were lots of questions posted but only few chosen questions were asked live.

Here is my reaction:

Based on the question and answer , He proven himself that he was really ready to be the next president of the Philippines. As far as I can see, he was the most prepared ever since 2 years ago. To answer those questions was not easy, but Villar answered it well, directly and straight.

I admire his dedication to help our country. He really wanted to save us from poverty that we suffer now. I appreciate his goodness on helping the poor, the moro and the OFWs.

His main focus was agriculture, and I super agree to that.  Our country is rich in natural resources so we must nurture it, and his plan of “repairing irrigation systems, organize milling and poor-service facilities, we can save around 5 to 10% with it alone”, this is really true and I believe it’s effective.

About the media, as a televiewer, I really noticed that they really unfair and being biased in reporting, whenever there are GOOD news about Noynoy they certainly broadcast it and be likely on the side of Noynoy rather than be in middle. I also believe that this media is the main reason why the Villar’s rating is slowly going down, and the news about Villar’s overspending is really a big issue that the media elaborated. it I guess he’s ads were perfect enough to be noticed by the public and I say that’s a successful ad campaign. Sometimes we always give negative meaningm in other words it’s crab mentality.

I want this kind of people like Villar that knows what’s best. Businessmen are managers and they are good leaders. If they succeed on their business, there is also a big chance on successful leadership. Managing business without killing is better.

Thanks! Vote Wisely !

Today is Labor Day. People in the Philippines are expecting Noynoy Cojuangco Aquino as a presidential candidate to answer issues regarding Hacienda Luista like why is he being dragged into the hacienda’s issues if he only owns 1% of Hacienda Luisita?

As a running candidate and Election Day is almost there, He should face the issue as part of the Cojuangco Family and as running president.  This is the first real test of personality of presidential buoyant, whose family has owned the land since 1958.

featured

The Hacienda  Luisita haunts Noynoy’s future, it was began long ago when government lenders asked  the Cojuangcos to give out the land to the little  farmers last 1967 and up to now the struggles doesn’t end yet. And it has gotten worst when the Hacienda Luisita Massacre happened last March 2004.

Today, Noynoy Aquino must speak about this one, this is an important issue! HE must say something on how to solve this and how to end this with no more bloodshed!  As we observed he is the leading candidate based on the surveys, and it is unfair to the other candidates who runs fairly yet this only ONE issue he can’t solve?  Let us also be aware that Noynoy must be fair and just in this issue whether he or his family is on this, the point is if he prove that under to his leadership and power there will be no corruption.

On the interviews Noynoy is urged to solve Hacienda Luisita, he may say that he would give up his 1% and asked his Uncles and aunts to give the land too, but how far he can do that? Remember Ex Pres Cory Aquino promised to also give the land to the farmers but until now it’s still on their hands. Up to this time still Noynoy has no clear plans for Hacienda Luisita

Is Noynoy competent enough to be the next  president? Think Again! And please watch this video the HACIENDA LUISITA MASSACRE.

Scuba Diving

Posted by ara in Travel

Last March 29, 2010 Me and my boyfriend went  Island Hopping with the ICT Davao lead by Mr. Ber Barriga, We were just strangers and anonymous to the group, we’re like gate crashers. In any reason, we just want experienced how enjoy island hopping would be and to dive without any completing requirements such as trainings and medical check-ups (Men! I hate that!). I will just divide my experiences in every Island we went to and first let me tell you about our scuba diving experienced.

We dive at Babu Santa Beach Resort – a venue for Lunch, Coral Garden (swimming/snorkeling/kayaking/). There were also lots of Island Hopping boats near to us.

Me and Mon were first timers in this activity, I was so scared because it really needs oxygen under. Upon wearing the suit, I was really shaking, shaking to death and wanted to back out, but our good trainer was really guarding us for almost 40 minutes, he also toured us and took pictures and video for souvenirs (it’s included in the package).  I was really amazed by the beauty under the water, the colorful and alive corals and the different kinds of fishes. I also touched the corals that are allowed to touch and it’s different very extraordinary!. One way or another, I was also having hard time breathing because of my Asthma.

Overall experience, it is 100% but it would be my first and last, can’t take inhale exhale but I enjoyed it so much!

By the way, the rate for Island Hoping package excluded the Scuba Diving (Optional not required to all passengers), so additional Php 800.00 per person including the mini training, suits, needed accessories, pictures/videos in a CD and assistance.

Political Campaign is now the hottest topic here in the Philippines, everyday as I turned on the TV to watched daily news I observed that almost all news were about the different kinds political issues that varies almost every week.

We all have different political views and this was merely the influenced on what we have read, hear and watched on the television. and these are the current topics we seen in the television, magazines and heard on the radios:

The Psycho issue of Noynoy Aquino.  This is another story that confused the public, why would they vote a Noynoy if is retarded? But this issue was not yet proven but if there is.  Let us not easily believed on issues like this, let us examine how the reporter deliver the report, what are the stories behind and the evidences there is a big possibility that this would be a made up story created by the other side.So we must be very careful and see how true is this.

On the other side, there is also a hot issue about Manny Villar one of this was regarding the Manny Villar response on the C5 issue, we all familiar with this c5 issue which they said that his properties benefited a lot from it. This is a big issue leaving us curious and wanted to know more, but some of the people’s reaction were mad at Villar because on what they understand it is a corruption,  and some don’t believed it that they believed that it is an issue attacked by his enemies.
