BYE Vista HELLO XP

This week I planned to downgrade my operating system from vista to XP. I already download all XP Toshiba Satellite L200 drivers into my PC and transfer all files to my PC. And that my notebook is now ready to format. But the ignorant me didn’t know that formatting an IDE hard rive is different from SATA hard drive, I first shock why is that the XP OS installer didn’t recognize my hard drive? I then Google it, and found my hard drive is SATA and You must add SATA driver ,press f6 first to add a RAID driver, so I followed it, but it fails because it needs floppy drive. It is because the SATA driver will be save in a floppy. I asked everyone if they have an external floppy drive when I asked my friend ragingmon about it, he answered me that this floppy drive is now obsolete. He is right though, but how can I reformat if this is the only way?. Good thing he’s brilliant brother knows the other way, and yes! If you are thinking of adding a device (SATA hard drive) in the BOOT system, unfortunately it is not available. So, he answered of go and explore nLite then explain to me that my XP OS installer will integrate the SATA driver with this software. And so, I followed what he said, then look for a process and yet I found it! Then I look for an INTEL 82801HEM SATA driver then download all I found, then download the inLite installer and then install it. He gives me the link to where I can download the new XP performance February 2008 edition and so I wait it for I think 3 Hours for the download to finish. And then I bought 3 blank CDs and do the process. (Sorry I forgot to save the link for the instruction). Then my first try fails, then I try the another SATA driver and then it fails too and then I add all the SATA driver I downloaded and change the mode to TEXT because I use PNP mode in my last two trials then convert it to ISO then burn, then try it and pray pray pray and HOOORAAAYYY!!!! My SATA hard drive was recognized. And then do all the formatting procedures in installing XP. Now I am happy with my notebook’s performance so fast and so good, Bye Vista!
(sorry for my grammar, sentence construction and etc.)
PS. I you’re wondering hus that girl, it’ my wallpaper… it’s alodia again…
