Club Avatar – The Grandest Asian Fusion Dance Club in Singapore
Thanks to omy.sg for inviting me and my guests for the soft launch of Club Avatar last June 17, 2011 Friday.
I am not a party person but this club made me like Clubbing!
I experienced clubbing, but I don’t go clubbing when I am not with my fun friends, I didn’t expect that this place would be so fun as far as I expected! A perfect night out for all young professionals, a perfect venue to meet new COOL friends, a perfect time to find your match mate! I’ll now take you to Club Avatar – The Grandest Asian Fusion Dance Club in Singapore.
When we arrived there, we immediately call Mr. Jae Loh, Club Avatar’s senior consultant – such a nice guy, very accommodating and fun!
Luckily, we are welcome to bring 2 guests so I brought my sister and boyfriend with me and we trio did enjoy that night! By the way, Club Avatar is located beside Marina Mandarin Hotel, I tell you it’s located to a decent location, no need to worry!
Club Avatar is set to excite your very soul and senses. Relax and indulge on the spacious dance floor and the plush VIP lounge areas.
As we enter inside, it’s like a club in Las Vegas that we seen on The World According to Paris where Paris HIilton go party. It’s amazing when lots of chandeliers at the top and colorful lightnings and yes you are now in the mood for clubbing!
Club Avatar’s dedication to luxurious entertainment is finely embodied in the state-of-the-art, baroque-inspired interior designs. Unstinting in taste for style, Club Avatar invested a whopping five million dollars in interiors. Me, my bf and my sister were obviously having fun because we so love the the music and ofcourse the live performance of a All girls group who dances and sings just like Wonder Girls, 2Ne1, Girls Generation with their luring KPOP inspired outfits and dance, you’ll gonna enjoy it!
Take a look at that girl with a tatttoo… She’s amazing! Really! She can lead the party all night long! She will pull the energy unto your soul until you will dance and dance, forget your problem and Enjoy and have fun. She’s so amazing, she can sing with different voices from Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Green Day and other POP, Rock, R&B,Jazz singers. Yes, they play all these various music and turn into a dance music… so amazing right? All people in there were really having fun and everybody was dancing. It’s a real and perfect night entertainment that is best recommended to all yuppies out there who work very hard, give yourself a little time to break guys and must choose the best, and it’s here at CLUB AVATAR.

Because it was too late already, it’s was almost 3:30 am we decided to go home, we really feel that the time was ticking too fast and we want to party forever! and we manage ta take a picture for the last time =)
Feels like we were celebrities for a one night, too bad camera is not that powerful but looks great (I think sob sob sob)

Yumilicious Feast at Icon Village
Have you been to Icon Village? Yeah it’s near Tanjong MRT station, and do you be believe that me with the 15 bloggers have tasted 8 restaurants for only consecutive 4 hours? YES YES YES! and exactly I was one of the lucky bloggers selected by OMY.sg for the Icon Village Yummilicious Feast.

A new restaurant concept from a Kitchen Language, the F&B am of Far East Organization, KUMO Japanese Kaiseki Restaurant takes its inspiration from the ephemeral beauty of nature and clouds in the sky. Review:
Since I am a fan of Japanese foods and seldom eat sushi (most likely I usually order Teriyaki Chicken) I really can compare the taste, the rice was I think too dry, seafoods were not that fresh compare to the other Japanese Restaurants that I have tried, However, tha taste was really “oishi”(delicious) especially the first 3 sushi (from left). I love how it taste and I really love the place, soo Japan. Two thumbs up for the crew, they really serve foods on a proper Japanese way, the utensils and really you can feel the Japanese atmosphere which unfortunately never been there and STILL dreaming to go there.
Then after sushi, Argentine cuisine serve in!
SALTA Argentine Parrilla + Grocer

It’s the first Argentine restaurant and grocer in Singapore!
Of all seven fires of Argentine cooking SALTA brings you the Parnilla. A 5 metre-long charcoal fired grill stands as the spectacular centerpiece of the restaurant.
Sampling Dish: Mixed grilled : Beef sirloin 200gm, Beef skirt 200gm, Chicken Thigh 250gm, Black Hog Pork Loin 200gm, Pork Sausage 140gm, Lamb Rack 180gm, Grilled Capsicum, Baby Corn, Carrot & Zucchini Baked Rosemary Garlic potatoes.
The Beef served at the restaurant is directly imported from Argentina, in five different cuts: beef skirt, beef flank, beef rib eye, beef tenderloin and beef sirlion.
Review:
I am no fan of beefs so I can’t rate it but for the other meat, I super agree with it’s taste and how it is cooked. It was so perfect not too raw and not too over-cooked! Especially the chicken it taste really good so juicy and the chicken skin the fact that it is only seasoned with salt.
And the third restaurant that we went, I remember that on this time, I was already full but when I see the restaurant, I decided to pause my diet

Pizzeria L’Operetta

Type of Cuisine: Italian
A Italian restaurant run by a Japanese owner, amazing! and what do you know, the whole crew are all Japanese! Japanese people are indeed best people in the Kitchen no matter what the dish would be.
The dough is made with flour, water , salt and yeast and tossed by hand.With ingredients imported from Italy, baked over a 450 degrees in just about one and half minute and springy in the inside offering their patrons a savouring and fulfilling authentic Italian dish.

Bismark Pizza – wood oven pizza topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella & parmesan cheese, ham, mushrooms & egg
Review:
Like You, I love pizza and this pizza was sooo sooo “Delizioso”. It’s was my first time to eat a pizza with an egg on the top, and it really adds more delicious to the pizza plus the crust was so crispy, I love how it was cooked I can’t spot overcooked part of the pizza and the toppings was really good, a delicious pizza is not necessary to have a lots of toppings on the top like a Christmas tree right? , Nevertheless I was so so full after eating 2 pieces of pizza and there are still 5 more to gooooo!!! can you feel my happiness?

Ramen Culture

Hot-Stone Tsuke Men
Review:
It’s my first time to eat taste this cuisine, I like it on my first and second taste and since it was so very spicy I stop eating it.lol Again, I am not a fan of too-spicy foods, and the noodles was so soft but the flavor was okay.It’s a nice experience eating a food like this. Btw, I was so in love with the place, love the color, the design and the architecture, feels like Japan again!
Ox-Tail Ramen
Review:
Honestly, the taste is different from the other ramen , it doesn’t taste ramen at all, it taste like any other noodle soup that can be found in the hawker or at the food court, but the taste of the soup was awesome, I sincerely like it.
Then, after tasting soups, it’s time for a Western foods…
Muffets Room

They serve us foods that makes my stomach empty again!!!
Fish Chips
Review:
Again, this restaurant never failed my expectation, more than that the fish was really fresh, I can really taste it! I really like the taste of it compare to popular LJS(oopppss!) And together with the fries (which my most favorite food of all) what can I ask more? It was perfect for my royal taste, but ofcourse generous of them they serve us more and these are pastas!
Lemon Fish and Chicken Italia
Review:
Both were really taste good, like I am so speechless imagine a pasta which is thick mix with a expensive creams with a right ingredients and that’s it! Super heaven! Mouth watering I should say And I am thinking to go back there again as soon as possible.

Review:
Irresistible based on how it look, I can imagine giving this to a person who I have hurted which is currently none or maybe I could give to the people I love cause it’s red! hahaha The taste is good not so sweet and I like how the icing taste, so yummy.
Then next stop, a feast could’nt be completed if there are no cakes

20 Rin Rin Ice Cheese Tarts
Review:
Average sweet, go really can finish eating the whole slice and still want more, this cakes will give you an addiction. I tasted it all and it’s same as the cakes we ordered in our birthday which we really really like. First time to eat ice cheese tart and I like the taste good for an awesome dessert. And you know what’s the best part of it? It’s LOW IN FAT! Good for us girls! =)

Taste good especially when it’s low fat,fruit toppings look fresh and also you have a lot of optional toppings to choose from. It’s original nothing can compare how delicious it is.

So here is my review:
First of all it is made in Italy and I think most of the skin care products that made in Italy is effective and good. And I also heard that the Virgin Olive Oil is an ancient oil skin care, Cleopatra might using this huh? coz she has a very beautiful skin as wrote on history books.lol
Pros:
It really soften and smooth my hand especially after taking a bath which my hands get dry (I think it’s from the water). Apart from that it is not also greasy eventhough it is a cream. My hands were also a little bit dry and chapped so I used it everyday 2 times a week and after 2 weeks it’s getting smoother and softer, and wanting to achieve the hands of a rich women that whenever you hand shake them, you feel ashamed on how rough of your hands were! You can’t blame them they didn’t do dishes or laundry at home.
Cons:
I don’t like the smell but I think that’s not essential as long as the smell not that foul.
UPDATE: Probably they didn’t add add a lot of chemical fragrances to be more natural which in this case I prefer than more chemicals adding to it.
Comparing it to my recent The Body Shop White Musk Moisturising Hand and Nail Cream
When talking about smoothness and elasticity of the skin, I prefer Olivella Hand Cream it last much longer than bodyshop. Both heals dry , brittle nails and soften cuticles (I barely need it since I am lazy cleaning my nails). The Body Shop smells more good than Olivella, and only tiny bit amount of The Bodyshop hand cream it easily softens your skin while in Olivella I need to apply more. And when talking about the cost, Olivella Hand Cream much cheaper than The Body Shop White Musk Moisturizing Hand and Nail Cream. so which you prefer most?
Also, Olivella was so generous they also gave me 2 travel pack of Olivella Body Lotion, and It really helps hydrating my skin and I feel comfortable while my skins so smooth and soft whole day. I am thinking of changing my lotion brand to this. hmmmm…

Maybelline Long Extreme Stiletto Mascara
I am a big fan of Maybelline when it comes to mascara. I already used the Maybelline Volume Express Mascara which is really good, there were are no black residue under my eyes which I experienced from other cheap products, not so cheap but basically not from Loreal, Maybelline and definitely not a Japanese product.
When I saw Xiaxue’s post about the new Maybelline Long Extreme Stilleto, I was so amazed its like wearing falsies but not! It is really good for me who don’t know how to put falsies LOL!
Luckily, this month Maybelline has a promotion! In a regular price buy 1 maybelline long extremr stilleto mascara ad you can get 1 bottle of Makeup remover for free! absolutely free! great deal! (do I sound like that guy in a TV ad channel? )
with my 2 years old 3 inch red sandal, I think it blends lol
It is quite cheaper compare to Japanese brand mascara that can achieve this capabilities – thick and long,obviously it’s called stilleto because make your lashes longer.
tried applying it on my hand, and I have no idea how to describe it hahahah
better try it on my eyes instead…
So after using it for more than 3 days already here is my review:
- amazingly it really builds decent and dramatic length
- easy to apply, you will not be worrying cause the brush designed well.
- It doesn’t flake.
- waterproof
- contains Pro Vitamins B5 that soften and soothe dry hair, skin and nails, according to Oregon State Food Resource. (http://www.ehow.com/facts_6174321_pro-vitamin-b5_.html)
- still it’s hard to achive curly lash using this.
- get dry easily so what I do is dip and curl dip and curl.

Overall: I think it’s fairly good for a Day Look, also for night but if you want a full attention from the crowd, might as well use false eyelashes.
A recommended mascara if you want to achieve long lashes and avoid stupid flakes underneath your eyes, and a good alternative f you want cheaper than buying expensive like MAC mascaras.
