A short background about Singapore Social Media Day:
Social Media Day is celebrating the revolution of media, the way in which media is becoming more social and helping to connect us. You’re one of more than 500 Social Media Day events and more than 5,000 people celebrating around the world on this day.
Initiated by your very own local bloggers, together with omy.sg, we have come together to host Singapore’s FIRST Social Media Day event at *Scape on the 25th June 2011.

After me and Kyoko meet at 313 we then went to Scape 2 and surprisingly we saw Hazel and Maureen yey! it’s like Yumilicious Feast Part 2? hhahaha
We saw lots of booths inside and saw familiar faces that I saw online specifically bloggers. First stop we went to this booth:
Like his shirt? I like it too. Anyway, we checked in to our foursquare then he gave us a cute So Me! Badge.
I’m wearing the So Me Badge, by the way, The SoMe! slogan is derived from the word “Social Media”. It represents the individuality in each and everyone of us, yet through the revolution of media, we are now more connected to each other than before.
After that, we donate and wrote our best wishes in the So Me wall, then they took photo of us and gave us a free instant photos!
The mega Wall where YOU can write on the wall for a minimum donation of $1 as a gesture of raising funds for ST Pocket Money Fund. Full Proceeds will be donated to Straits Times Pocket Money Fund.

and the most fun of all
Yes indeed! Surprisingly Calvin dragged us down to be the contestant or to be with the 4 bloggers for the Creative Sandwich Making Contest and luckily I was paired with one of the awesome bloggers,Andy. We have only limited ingredients to picked but we end up sharing to create our design.
The 4 bloggers, Hazel (on the left) was one of the bloggers.

After that , we explore HTC, as one of the sponsors

and this cute shivering thingy, yeah it shivers.. *sound scary* maybe it’s has an electric conductor inside lol no I think a guy inside point his finger whenever we touch the mascot hhahaha, seriously I dont know! lol

The New HTC mobile phone is quite good touch screen + Keypad = AWESOME, NOT BAD AT ALL.
And after that, we separate our ways, Hazel went home coz she have her duty at 12 am, Kyoko went to seea movie with his husband and us went to Orchard strolling lol and I end you up with my solo pictures with the prizes we’ve got.
Thanks Kyoko for giving me this very cute Rilakkuma Bear, I love it!! Promise I’ll take good care of him, my new beanie babies!
