Yesterday, as I browse  my facebook website, I saw Ces Drilion post saying “the Nacionalista Party presidential candidate Manny Villar will be the Bandilla’s hot seat,  I then  posted a comment asking on how he would be able to save the Philippines which is in highly crisis. I was so excited to watched it and wanted to know how Manny Villar response to C-5 controversy.

Last Night while working, I switched on the tv to watched Bandila, and luckily it was the Hot seat portion of the program, the news anchors were Ces Drilon and Henry Omaga-Diaz. I also browsed the Bandila Fan Page on facebook where there were lots of questions posted but only few chosen questions were asked live.

Here is my reaction:

Based on the question and answer , He proven himself that he was really ready to be the next president of the Philippines. As far as I can see, he was the most prepared ever since 2 years ago. To answer those questions was not easy, but Villar answered it well, directly and straight.

I admire his dedication to help our country. He really wanted to save us from poverty that we suffer now. I appreciate his goodness on helping the poor, the moro and the OFWs.

His main focus was agriculture, and I super agree to that.  Our country is rich in natural resources so we must nurture it, and his plan of “repairing irrigation systems, organize milling and poor-service facilities, we can save around 5 to 10% with it alone”, this is really true and I believe it’s effective.

About the media, as a televiewer, I really noticed that they really unfair and being biased in reporting, whenever there are GOOD news about Noynoy they certainly broadcast it and be likely on the side of Noynoy rather than be in middle. I also believe that this media is the main reason why the Villar’s rating is slowly going down, and the news about Villar’s overspending is really a big issue that the media elaborated. it I guess he’s ads were perfect enough to be noticed by the public and I say that’s a successful ad campaign. Sometimes we always give negative meaningm in other words it’s crab mentality.

I want this kind of people like Villar that knows what’s best. Businessmen are managers and they are good leaders. If they succeed on their business, there is also a big chance on successful leadership. Managing business without killing is better.

Thanks! Vote Wisely !

Today is Labor Day. People in the Philippines are expecting Noynoy Cojuangco Aquino as a presidential candidate to answer issues regarding Hacienda Luista like why is he being dragged into the hacienda’s issues if he only owns 1% of Hacienda Luisita?

As a running candidate and Election Day is almost there, He should face the issue as part of the Cojuangco Family and as running president.  This is the first real test of personality of presidential buoyant, whose family has owned the land since 1958.

featured

The Hacienda  Luisita haunts Noynoy’s future, it was began long ago when government lenders asked  the Cojuangcos to give out the land to the little  farmers last 1967 and up to now the struggles doesn’t end yet. And it has gotten worst when the Hacienda Luisita Massacre happened last March 2004.

Today, Noynoy Aquino must speak about this one, this is an important issue! HE must say something on how to solve this and how to end this with no more bloodshed!  As we observed he is the leading candidate based on the surveys, and it is unfair to the other candidates who runs fairly yet this only ONE issue he can’t solve?  Let us also be aware that Noynoy must be fair and just in this issue whether he or his family is on this, the point is if he prove that under to his leadership and power there will be no corruption.

On the interviews Noynoy is urged to solve Hacienda Luisita, he may say that he would give up his 1% and asked his Uncles and aunts to give the land too, but how far he can do that? Remember Ex Pres Cory Aquino promised to also give the land to the farmers but until now it’s still on their hands. Up to this time still Noynoy has no clear plans for Hacienda Luisita

Is Noynoy competent enough to be the next  president? Think Again! And please watch this video the HACIENDA LUISITA MASSACRE.

Scuba Diving

Posted by ara in Travel

Last March 29, 2010 Me and my boyfriend went  Island Hopping with the ICT Davao lead by Mr. Ber Barriga, We were just strangers and anonymous to the group, we’re like gate crashers. In any reason, we just want experienced how enjoy island hopping would be and to dive without any completing requirements such as trainings and medical check-ups (Men! I hate that!). I will just divide my experiences in every Island we went to and first let me tell you about our scuba diving experienced.

We dive at Babu Santa Beach Resort – a venue for Lunch, Coral Garden (swimming/snorkeling/kayaking/). There were also lots of Island Hopping boats near to us.

Me and Mon were first timers in this activity, I was so scared because it really needs oxygen under. Upon wearing the suit, I was really shaking, shaking to death and wanted to back out, but our good trainer was really guarding us for almost 40 minutes, he also toured us and took pictures and video for souvenirs (it’s included in the package).  I was really amazed by the beauty under the water, the colorful and alive corals and the different kinds of fishes. I also touched the corals that are allowed to touch and it’s different very extraordinary!. One way or another, I was also having hard time breathing because of my Asthma.

Overall experience, it is 100% but it would be my first and last, can’t take inhale exhale but I enjoyed it so much!

By the way, the rate for Island Hoping package excluded the Scuba Diving (Optional not required to all passengers), so additional Php 800.00 per person including the mini training, suits, needed accessories, pictures/videos in a CD and assistance.

Political Campaign is now the hottest topic here in the Philippines, everyday as I turned on the TV to watched daily news I observed that almost all news were about the different kinds political issues that varies almost every week.

We all have different political views and this was merely the influenced on what we have read, hear and watched on the television. and these are the current topics we seen in the television, magazines and heard on the radios:

The Psycho issue of Noynoy Aquino.  This is another story that confused the public, why would they vote a Noynoy if is retarded? But this issue was not yet proven but if there is.  Let us not easily believed on issues like this, let us examine how the reporter deliver the report, what are the stories behind and the evidences there is a big possibility that this would be a made up story created by the other side.So we must be very careful and see how true is this.

On the other side, there is also a hot issue about Manny Villar one of this was regarding the Manny Villar response on the C5 issue, we all familiar with this c5 issue which they said that his properties benefited a lot from it. This is a big issue leaving us curious and wanted to know more, but some of the people’s reaction were mad at Villar because on what they understand it is a corruption,  and some don’t believed it that they believed that it is an issue attacked by his enemies.

The Callbox Software Development Team (Iloilo and Davao) had their Team Building with the Davao IT Tech Support Team at Seagull Mountain Resort  located at Buda (Davao-Bukidnon Road). It is a 1 and ½ day fun exploring the resort to foster to foster awareness of the team spirit and to reinforce commitment to the team’s shared goals and objectives. We rented 1 small campsite (750) for two girls and 1 big campsite (1,200) for 5 boys.

Last April 10, 2010 the team, at 6 am after shift we had our breakfast at McDonalds then back to office to get our monthly incentive. Then we rode on Joe’s car headed to Budda, it is a 1 ½ hour trip and you can experience the very cold temperature of the place. At the campsite, we ate our breakfast, and then we rode on a tour car heading down to the Seagull Falls. We then jumped to the pool to get ourselves wet because we were all did not take a bath yet.  Then without changing a dried clothes, we headed to the mountain and tour around the resort, we enjoyed taking pictures and amazed on the place. We saw the big crucifixion at the end part of the place. It is the best place for solemn and retreat. Even though the temperature was so very cold, we manage to tour around the place while wet (Oh my God I still can’t imagine!)  Because we were having fun not to mention Sir Karlo was reading a Bob Ong’ book.

Then after the tour, we took our clean bath at the clean comfort room and stayed in our campsite, some of the boys were already sleeping while the others invaded our campsite and we played UNO, yet we were having fun , because it is not a mind game, it is a game  that requires presence of mind. Then, after that some prepare the Dinner and we all ate. Afterwards, we all stayed in the guys’ campsite watching “The Ninja Assasin” movie on Joe’s laptop while drinking 2 sets of Gin + Green Lime, then we all sleep out of tiresome no sleep day.

On the morning 5:00 am we can already feel the very cold temperature as if we were in the refrigerator. Then at 6:30 am we took our breakfast and bought a Native Hot Choco in the Cafeteria.  And lastly we packed our things headed to the car and leave Seagull Moutain Resort.

It was the best place for Team Building, retreat, family outing and etc.

1 month to go and it’s Election Day, I’m still undecided of who will I vote as president, Base on their campaigns all are deserving but nobody knows if they are the right one and and  runs by will and heart  and not just by the  power and money they can benefit.

The Two leading presidential candidates are Aquino and Villar, and because of this, each party searched holes to their rivals instead of focusing to their programs and platforms,  and it’s coming down to labeling which is  the most popular is the Gloriaquino vs. Villaroyo.

The Villaroyo was labeled to the Nacionalista Party, standard bearer Sen. Manny Villar by his political attackers saying that Villar is the GMA’s clone and candidate and because of this label, the party believes that the true coalition of PGMA is the Liberal Party standard bearer Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III which they labeled as Gloriaquino.

The impact of this labeling affects the percentage of survey specifically the votes for Villar which declined the most. Adel Tamano, the NP spokesperson admitted that black propaganda, mainly the Villaroyo tag has hurt Manny Villar was thrown by Liberal Party that has started to affect their campaign.

As a voter, this labeling really made me a confusion of who will I vote, it seems they are busy ruining each other instead of campaigning themselves and let me realized that if these are the kind of leaders who will sit on the Malacañang in the future, I bet the change we wanted will never happened it is like the PGMA season 2. Even of these are lies, can’t they ignore the accusations and continue campaigning, with this we can foresee who is the deserving leader for our country.
