Heavy March
Posted by in Little Personal
March. A month before my entry to the jungle and a month before my birthday. March the last month of my college life. It’s totally heavy series of experiences happen to my life.
First, our final examination I don’t want to talk it anymore especially our Literature and Political Science exams.
Second, the final documentation of our thesis. Expenses + hard work = Graduation.

Third, the operation for the removal of the nasal polyps in the left side of my nose. I was admitted in the hospital last February 12, 2009 and had my operation a day after and its Friday 13th (creepppy!) but fortunately the operation was successful (hooray!), then I was discharged in the hospital at Saturday night, hospital bill cries us out loud! I was confine at San Pedro Hospital and the nurse assigned to that floor are very kind, polite and caring especially those students who were on duty. Thumbs up for the SPC nursing students! They really deserve to be called the Future RN.
On the day of my operation, first they injected me with a drug that made me sleep, of course I didn’t sleep immediately but little by little all what I see faded until I got sleep and they headed me to the operating room. I slept at 8:00 am and woke up at 9:30 am and got shocked that my nose were bleeding, and aching. I then back to sleep and I was back to my room. My nose keeps bleeding and aching so my doctor removes one of the nose pads in my nose, by the way my doctor was Dr. Andrew Selga the best doctor! I love him! There are total 4 nose pads in my nose.
On the next week after my operation, I visited Dr. Selga everyday to remove my nose pads in my nose, I went for 6 days in the clinic until my nose is okay and I can smell now! Wee! Congrats!
Our senses are really important! So please take care of your eyes, nose, ears and throat. Those Days I suffered from this polyps made my voice different and hard to pronounced, I can’t smell anything and I breathe through my mouth, I can’t taste and can’t appreciate food, teary eyes and major nasal congestion. So please as an advise, if you feel something wrong, go to your doctor immediately so that they will prescribe you the CORRECT medicine.

Fourth, UIC Parents Recognition Day for graduating students.Last March 21, 2009 at 6 pm in UIC Main Auditurium We are required to wear formal attire, so that night is like a awarding night for the students. So far so good! On that event, it includes the distribution of awards for the program awardees. Congratulations to those students who received an award like Program Athletes of the Year, Program Special Talent and etc. Especially to Jasi and Brylle who receives an award same of mine the Program Leadership Award, to Mon2 Special Talent Award, to Xong Athletes of the year, Aiza, Dennies, James and to the IT 4! Thank you ITE administrators and faculty.

Fifth, the Graduation Day. Woohoo! The most awaited rite of every student in the institution.Last March 22, 2009, the UIC celebrates the College Baccalaureate and Graduation Rites at UIC Bajada Auditurium. Unfortunately, I came late I seated at the back with the nursing student but we did well in the receiving of Diploma and award. And After the program, we went to Dimsum Diner with my family , we can’t spent a bongga celebration for my graduation since all our money went to my operation, so depressing but that’s life.

Well anyway, Congratulations to all graduates and welcome to the real world!
