Last blog for year 2008
Blogging is really my tool of expression since 2006 . And now 2008 will end and this will be my last post for 2008. Remember my 2006 and 2007 New Year posts?
My 2008 summary of events and activities that took place in my life.
Let me start of in January- who would forget the month they first bought their very own laptop using their own money. Yeah! The month I bought my Toshiba L200 A410 Laptop aka “baby”. Hehehehe.
January- March, these months are the last three months of being an ITE President. In that position I really experienced the most complicated, independent and hard to handle of my life. I experienced to have an enemies, false accusations and even gossips. But all throughout I still managed to stand firm although I cried but thank God there are my friends that always there for me.
April- May – My birthday I celebrated at our office and at church, our outing at Samal Canibad with my friends in which I, Harvey, Brylle and IC celebrated our birthday. And then these 2 months were my on the job training experiences that says to me “This would be the industry I will be dealing with after school” , working in a off sourcing company I should say is different from the others, not to mention the 24 hours open office. It also great working with an professional IT people the SD peeps especially to our senior programmer, the technical support guys who taught us the TRUE networking that must be learned , the HR girls for being suplada all the way (good job!).Also I continue my CCNA course.
June- start of our class and start of my work as a UIC SSG PIO Main also start of our system proposal development. I don’t want to mention the senior uniform chronicle.
June- October – in short the 1st semester, school, blogging, family, officer, online life. No more no less I think. Oh! Most exciting part was the Intramurals. The 11th consecutive year’s champion, the Engineering didn’t partake the event, I sympathize these students they want to play but unfortunately they can’t. And in the end of the event at last for the first time, the ITE program proclaimed as the overall Champion. At the end of the semester, me and my classmates went to Samal Fernandez Resort to chill! Yeah!
I also attended some bloggers gathering this year like the Word Camp in Davao in which I met Matt Mullenweg (love at first sight *hides*) and the Digital Filipino bloggers eyeball at Grand Regal Hotel
Then seminars, I attended the M CSC Lecture on Project Management and Software Development Life Cycle organized by DabaweGNU, the Innovation Forum and the CyberExpo 2008.
Family… mmm my brother arrived here at Davao last October, much to my surprised; he gave me money for a gimmick! I am also using his macbook, and I love it! sob sob sob sob..,. To my sis Kaye, he achieved a lot of achievement like participating the “table setting contest” last Mindanao Culinary Art Festival and won as 2nd place. Bravo! So proud!
Okay headed for November to December – the start of the second semester… scary! The last semester of my life I hope so! And our system is still in development. Also November was the month of the birth of the maartegirls.com
There are a lot of people I like to Thank with because of so much blessings that were showered upon me.(murag prayer).
My family for ever no “sawa” supporting me in all aspects.
To my UIC Family, my classmates for forever true, the most important people since 1st year to 4th year who always there especially to my co maartegirls.com contributors and consider my best friends (IC, babes, pie), to the BFF(tin2, kali, vlad), to the tabas(Harvey,jim,billy) and payats(brylle, loyd, mon2) guys, to jong, ace, xong, aries, arzi you people I will never forget forever! , to the IT B thanks, To the ITE Faculty to the two deans I consider them equal Sir Jo and Sir Jerry, Sir Ex, Sir Eric for helping me always from Accouting, thesis and etc.. Thank Sir, Maam Sheena , Sir Laud and etc. , to the ITE love you all,to the alumni thanks too! to my new circle of friends the UIC SSG to pres Neil forever considerate, masipag, jolly and nice person I ever knew, to the two vice Nelca a mature mind with a mature heart with a very sweet and tender attitude, Jopal u will always be my Jopal I ever knew since, to the ever talkative but friendly sexytary, she was the closest among all that’s why I love her so much.. hehehehe, assistant sec Carlo, “muad2 ta og Dubai Carl”… the most promising person ever!, Lemuel I always laugh in our meet-ups because of you, the person who has the high level of humor but so serious on his life, Yoys, my dearest yoys the curvilicious girl and the It girl, gel I love your energy girl! To the other faculty Thanks.
To the people I am with for a very short time, the Davao Alliance IMD team, the davao bloggers and to the Callbox pips.
Sir Roy for being our consultant I really learn a lot from you and to my SAD/ASD group mates especially Jasi…. Thanks!
To the person who gives me guidance and inspiration you know who you are, Thanks!
And to God thank you for giving me this kind of people.
New Year’s Resolution??? Mmmm Useless! HAHAHA… as I know People change.

A lot of achievements for 2008, a lot of memories rin, haven’t posted a post like that about my 2008 yet but it’s never too late :p

Engineering Position in todays market are difficult to come by and this is made even more compounded given that future employers are becoming more difficult to satisfy. Personally, I think that the world economy should see substantial improvements within the next twelveyears and this should make everyones financial position easier to manage.
